This is truly a vintage dress!! I believe it is made of a crinkly rayon with matching belt. It is a lovely deep magenta/raspberry. This was one of my favorites and it is very soft, comfortable and complimentary to almost any figure. To top it off, it is Made in the U.S.A.!!!! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

kristylynn77 What material is it made with, what's the measurements? Waist, arm length, the width from left back shoulder to the right side, length of dress from top to bottom, from armpit to bottom of the dress? Sorry for so many questions I've made the mistake of not asking. Thanks!

omargirl @kristylynn77 - no problems asking questions. The measurements are listed separately below. My daughter is really the measuring pro but she is at work right now. I will have her reconfirm my measurements tonight. I think this dress is Rayon. I cut the itchy tag off it years ago. I tried to look up similar fabrics on the Internet before posting the dress and Rayon is my best guess. I have super-sensitive skin so if it isn't soft, I can't really wear it. If you should buy this dress and you don't like it, I have no problems with you returning it. I want you to be happy with it. And the pics I posted were as close to what it really looks like.

omargirl @kristylynn77 - This dress is truly vintage. It is about 30 years old. All of those styles are returning. Lol I wish I had kept all of my cowl neck sweaters. The material of this dress is like brand new, really. I hesitate to mention the age because absolutely no one can tell. Please keep in mind that sizes then were a bit smaller then. This is probably going to be true to size for a current high dollar evening gown. Off-the-rack sizes have grown larger with time to meet current population sizes. This dress is a sheath. The material is designed to stretch and hug your body. So these measurements are without any stretch of the material. The waist is 42". The arm from shoulder seam to cuff is 25". The left back shoulder to the right back shoulder is 15". From top to bottom the dress is 47". From armpit to bottom it's 36 1/2". Again remember that each crinkle in the dress will stretch. Thanks for the questions - they will help me with my Poshing. ☺️

omargirl @kristylynn77 - Thanks for your response. If you have time, I was hoping you could tell me what changed your mind. Are the measurements not good for you or something else. I am not trying to be nosey but I am really trying to see if those measurements would match today's sizes. But thank you for your interest!! Happy Poshing!πŸŽƒ

kristylynn77 It's too small and I'm a size 12 with a 34 DD, 32 waist, I'm 5'9" and 162 pounds. It wouldn't fit my chest and my back cuZ I'm too wide. Sorry

omargirl Thank you. The size tag is no longer on it but I am fairly certain it's an 11/12, which is a junior's size. Thanks for taking the time to explain. πŸŽƒ

omargirl @valbeesure - Thank you! I just dropped the price. And it's one of those dresses that is really better in person. 😊

omargirl @valbeesure - You may be right. The measurements are in a previous post. That gal was also a 36DD and she didn't think it would fit her either. 😊

omargirl @valbeesure - I bet it's tough and I can only imagine the back aches. I'm 5'10 so my issue is always pants, skirts and shorts that are too short.
