Sir Winston Churchill Coin feat Elizabeth II Dei Gratia Regina

In 1965, to commemorate the death of Sir Winston Churchill the Royal Mint struck a limited issue commemorative crown coin. This 1965 Coin was only the second English Crown to show the bust of a Commoner, the first being that of Cromwell in 1658. The reverse designed by Arnold Machin has the portrait of Sir Winston Churchill facing right, wearing his now famous Siren Suit, designed by Oscar Nemon and is a worthy memorial to a Famous Englishman.
