This can fit on MANY Singer sewing machines with a slant shank. I used it on a 1970’s Singer Touch & Sew, but it is compatible with dozens of other slant shank machines throughout the years. Google the model number to learn if it is compatible with your slant shank sewing machine.
It can be used for:
-Quilting
-Sewing leather, satins, pile, or other hard-to-sew fabrics
-Matching stripes, plaids, and patterns
The foot contains internal feed dogs to feed multiple layers of fabric under the foot evenly. It is also sometimes referred to as an “Even Feed Foot” or a “Dual Feed Foot”.
When I sewed a quilt without this foot (2 layers of fabric with batting in between), the bottom fabric tended to develop unwanted pleats because the three layers did not feed evenly.
The Quilt Stitch Guide Rod is adjustable as shown to keep parallel stitching lines even. The guide rod can also be used on the left. The Guide Rod can also be easily removed as shown.
The only reason I am offering this for sale is because I no longer have a slant shank sewing machine.
Purchased from reputable quilt shop approximately 10 - 15 years ago.
