Simone Carvalli Silk Wedding Dress

This 100% silk charmeuse used wedding dress is a French couture signature collection and is decorated with Swarovski jewels. It has a plunging neckline, open v cut back and a beautiful hourglass “snatched waist” shape/cut. The fabric is an ivory color and the dress has a great Gatsby 1920s vibe. There is a gorgeous train, bustle added. There is padding in the cups and a pretty sheer illusion design to the straps. This could be a wedding dress or a formal ballgown; I considered removing the train to make it a floor length evening gown. There is one place where a seam has come undone (about 6 inches long) towards the bottom of the train, it’s hard to notice. Please see the video: it could easily be repaired by a seamstress. The dress is a size 4, but it was a small fitting 4. I had some room given in the waist, but I’d still compare this to a standard dress size 4ish, not as big as a 6. The top of the strap to floor length is just at 61 inches, it was hemmed. The straps were tightened, but could be released if more room is needed (see picture). I also had the armpit sheer removed, as it irritated my underarm. Having my alterations done makes it not quite a standard size, but for anyone that could appreciate the quality, sophistication, and class of this dress, some light alterations could customize the fit.
