Silverplate Footed Meat Platter

Great overall condition. Vintage Silver Plate item. Large enough for most medium size hams or roasts, and an elegant way to entertain. Has light scuffs, finger prints and very light scratches due to normal use. Could polish away all the scratches if desired. Tray is marked with an unusual marking for silver plate, alluded to in forum research as possibly Sheffield Silver Company of the United States, which became a division of Reed and Barton. It is more likely to be an American piece of silver plate than an "Old Sheffield Plate" piece by Waterhouse & Co. Measures approx. 19"X14.5"X2" and weighs approx. 3 lbs.
