melenahoward @checheboutique it’s gorgeous but I’m a little confused, hun. Sterling silver is 925. Is it sterling silver plated over a base metal, perhaps? :)

jessa1155 @melenahoward I’m a jeweler. Unless it’s pure fine sterling, which is rare.... fine silver is soft. Or it’s either 925 Sterling, so old (super vintage and even then rare to be unmarked) that it’s not stamped, plates 925P or base metal??

checheboutique @melenahoward oh ok I’m sorry, I didn’t kno that Sterling is 925. I just know that it is not stamped 925. and so it must be silver plated, or rhodium plated. Well I must thank you fir teaching me something today! Lol thank u!
