I haven't taken it out of the box as I'm trying to keep the packaging looking nice so it's hard for me to answer but, based on the name of the company, the quality packaging etc I'm 99% sure it's sterling silver. synderellie Some of their jewelry is Sterling Silver, too. There should be markings on the pendant and or the clasp. I know you're trying not to open the package, however, with gloves could you see if it has any markings for metal type?
