Silver Jam Set Ornate Nickel Silver Condiment Set Embossed Japan Retro MCM

Vintage from the 1960s Materials: Nickel silver, glass I have an absolutely wonderful, vintage nickel silver, jam and jelly set. This is a beautiful set from Japan in the very heavily embossed style that was popular in the 50s and 60's. An oval silver tray caddies two lidded pots, with the original glass inserts This set is in really nice condition, however there are some spots on the silver rim of the pots where the silver has worn; Not unexpected for something of this age in the nickel silver, the embossed silver is all in very nice shape. The glass inserts are in excellent condition, as are the spoons. Really an elegant addition to the breakfast table, or for any condiments you would like to serve from them! The tray measures 8" X 6", and the pots are 4" with the lids on, 2.75" without. I would say that the interior cups probably hold about 1/2 a cup
