Features: • Vintage Haori, Happi Coat or Short Kimono, Handmade, Japan • See Detailed Damage Notes • Vibrant, Brightly Colored Silk Crepe • Reds, Blues, Greens, Pinks • Chrysanthemums, Fans, Geometric Prints • Floral • Made in Japan • Lined In Red Silk and White Damask Silk At Bottom • Kimono Sleeves • Two Tone Lining, Red Upper, White Damask Lower Lining • Very Delicate • I Would Not Recommend Wearing Often, Or At All Without Conservation • Probably 1940's or Earlier • Late Meiji to Early Showa Period • Would Be Beautiful As A Piece of Fiber Art Hanging On Your Wall • The Japanese Were Early Adopters of Synthetic Dye, Calling It the Color of Progress • Will Ship In A Box Size: Womens No Size Tag Condition: Pre-Owned Fair Has Loose Threads, Loose and Open Seams, Loose Basting Stitches, Spots, Stains, Marks. Red Lining Has Bled Color Onto White Damask Lining. Red Lining On Body Front and Back Is More Worn and Threadbare Than the Sleeve Lining. This Is Vintage Item, Probably 1940's or Earlier, I Have NOT Laundered It. Shows Dirt On White Lining. It Is Very Delicate Silk. No Size. The Color and Pattern Are Fantastic, Would Make Great Artwork For Display.
