Hi ! I was under the impression that a size 40 is a u.s. 9 to 9.5? The listing says size 8 but the inside top of shoe says 40. Could you please clarify? Thanks so very much!!! Sonya C.

@sonya_carlson hi! Sorry I am just now seeing this comment. I wear 8 or 8.5 in everything and I’m pretty sure when I bought these, the retailer listed them as an 8. But yes they say 40 on the shoe. They fit me perfectly so I would say they’re def closer to an 8 than a 7!
