This hand signed Maya Calendar carved slate by Edwin Cumal is full of amazing detail! It has intricate carvings on the front including a ziggurat in the center. On the back, the artist not only hand signed his name but also explains what it is. Cumal states that this is a “HaaB, the Maya annual calender (sic.) had 18 months with 20 days and a 19 month of 5 days.” Interesting! It has a satin rope tie for hanging on the wall.
