Siamese Cat TV Lamp, Howard Kron, Mid Century Modern, Table Lamp, MCM Home Decor

This mid century modern Siamese Cat Lamp is by the artist / designer Howard Kron for Texans Incorporated. This TV lamp or table lamp is ceramic. It stands a little over 13 inches (33 cm) tall. Light illuminates from the the eyes of the Siamese cat and kitten. The back of the lamp has an open section as well, illuminating the area behind it. This figural lamp is circa 1950s and the back of the lamp is impressed "Kron". The base of the lamp is lined with felt, to protect the surface it sits on. It has its original cord and a twist "on / off" knob. The bulb that is included is shown in the pictures and has been in the lamp for quite some time. Condition: This figural lamp is ceramic and about 70 years old. This lamp is clean. The electric cords seems to be original and shows no signs of cracks, repairs, or breakage. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs to the body of the lamp. There are some signs of age. Age has caused there to be crazing on most areas of the lamp, with the exception of the faces of the cats. The front creases (cats legs) of this 1950s lamp and the feet of the cats have fine crazing which causes them to have a white look up close.
