Short white dress

There is a small tear in the lace on the left size in the front that was sewn back together. It doesn’t go all the way through the dress, just on the lace. It has never been washed. I wore it to graduation in high school. I am afraid to wash it it probably needs to be taken to the dry cleaners to take care of it best.
