@aet787 small covers sizes 6-8 which I feel like is wide range. I love these shirts, my son is 10 now and I repurchased them in the next size up when he was 9. So I feel like it might be larger in a six year old and maybe hit the waistline of an 8 year old depending how big the child is and also what fit you are looking for.
