If your pet's hair is severely knotted or tangled, an intensive brushing will be required. Just make sure that you are paying attention to your pet's emotions as you groom. Dispense a dollop of dry conditioner around the area of each knot or tangle. It should loosen knots and tangles in just a few minutes. 3.
