ellechristine @tinadelsasso1 Hi there. I am sorry. I honestly did not see your first post. It is acrylic. I wouldn't say it is particularly soft but it is not scratchy. If you have a serious skin condition that could harm your heart, I wouldn't say this is the right sweater for you. Sorry.
