Shell Case Penny Collection WWII

As World War II was winding down, cartridge casings were salvaged and made into Lincoln wheat pennies from 1944-1946. This collection is from that time. Six pennies with 2 each of dates of 1944, 1945, and 1946. Some dates are hard to read through the acrylic case. Made of copper and zinc. Pennies 19mm. Wonderful part if history.
