If you watch Big Bang Theory on TV, you know where I got their names. Sheldon and Penny. Hence, my rather silly PM name of Shelpen. These two are somewhere in the line of around 15 I have had in my lifetime. Cats and dogs. Lots lived to be 20. I do remember every face and how much I loved each one of them. Recued and/or feral. shelpen @grits59 I don't believe it! I was born and raised in Chatsworth. My made name was Adams. Sondra Adams and I am now 66, graduated MCHS1967. Two older sisters named Linda West and Marilyn and Lewis. was then Sondra Ellis For about nine years and married to Fred Ellis from Rossville. For 20 something years, I have been married to Mike Cline Who was born and raised in Dalton. share if you like.

grits59 @shelpen, Good Lord, woman--we're probably related!! My maiden name is Kilgore. My father was in the Air Force and we lived all over the place. If we were in the country, we could always count on summers in Murray County! I have a bunch of cousins in the area. Both of my parents are deceased--buried at Kilgore Cemetery in Chatsworth. It's a small, small world. 😘

malamom @shelpen beautiful kitties💕 love them❤️❤️from a fellow animal lover I've had cats in the past who also lived to 20, so hard to lose them they r with u it seems a lifetime I got my Bentley when I was 16 Until 36husband😕 hated cats when I married him & loved our kitty so much by the end of her life he was hysterical 😢 pups now won't tolerate cats, unless it's for a snack😁

shelpen @malamom husband and I both say Penny, Penny, penny Quite a lot. My first set of ferals, I was into the Murphy Brown show with Candace Bergen and Elgin her funny painter. I named one of my cats Murphy and one of them Mr. Murphy. Wish I had 5000 acres and all the dogs and cats and animals in the world that didn't have a home and they all got along together.

shelpen Never had children. 67 now so don't expect any. My oldest sister had a girl who became my daughter sort of. The daughter had a son who is the love of my life and he is my grandson sorta. I couldn't have pets growing up but I made up for it bringing home every stray dog and cat I could find and gave them a good life for as long as I could. Cont

shelpen I don't know how many I had during my first marriage. I had strays from the landfill and I borzoi that was lost on the interstate. During my second marriage my husband got a cat kitten at a pet store to replace a black cat named Pinky I had had for 20 something years

shelpen Then I started taking care of a feral mama cat who let me feed her and then brought me three beautiful little kittens so then I had four. They all passed between 18 and 20 years old. Wasn't going to have more because the pain was not bearable but couldn't live without them so my friend had a feral mom in her woods. That's how I got Penny and Sheldon. Did you ever watch the Big Bang Theory. Wish I had not used shelpen as my name on posh. My cat stories take a while. 😘

krickette27 @shelpen you are definitely a women after my own heart! I love love love animals! I have four kitties and a dog, as well as, 5 horses!! I've always had animals. All my cats and my dog are rescues. All my life, I've always looked after animals...my husband use to try and discourage me from bringing those in need home, but he has since given up and goes along!! My mom always tells me, you can't save the world, Dawn.. and I tell her, no, but I can try!!

shelpen @krickette27 May God give us both grace and mercy for our love of animals. I just saw a show the other day and this family just had animals as pets all of their farms. Horses sheep chickens and many more. I told my husband I thought horses and cows were so beautiful and so are sheep and every other of gods creatures. If I won the lottery I would have a huge huge farm with animals I could hug every day.

shelpen @theposhcat Sheldon is the mostly white with lots of black looking hearts all over him. Even one around his tail. One day I'm going to figure out how to make million dollars off that! He doesn't say that but my husband and I constantly say PennY! Penny!! Penny! And I smile every time I say it thinking of Sheldon on the show. shelpen @single9 thank you so much. Since I never had children, all the animals I've had during my life have been my children. These two are brother and sister and were feral. I got them after I lost four during a couple of years who were all about 20 years old. I still cry.

single9 Crack of Dawn here...Couldn't sleep. My pets are my kids too. I guess I might think that's sad, but they are so loving I can't miss kids I never had. And I still cry about the ones I lost. Esp my feral one. It took me a year of sitting out every night to get him to let me touch him. Thank you for the nice compliments. shelpen @single9 had retired a few years ago when I was still slender and had a lot of. Small nice clothes which i sold at my yard sales. I made a huge mistake by purchasing about 500 pieces from three or four fantastic closets on posh. the problem is I still owe for most of that. No not fussing. I am not selling much at all now and have got to start sharing my closet three times a day which kills my arms. I'm 67 so there's always something wrong. Lol. You have a blessed day.

Only if you want to discuss something you don't want other people to necessarily see you go way down in their closet since you don't have a closet yet and underneath a sold item you leave your comment down there. Most people don't go and read what is under a sold item. I normally begin mine with🔴🔴 or something to call attention to a new comment. 🙀😽

shelpen @single9 it was news to me too when I started. I did have a phone with a camera that makes pretty good pictures but now I have about 8000 photos on it and it doesn't like that so I backed them up into something called a cloud. I'm not computer literate either. I thought I could use a regular computer. Because my fingers kill me using this phone.

shelpen @single9 Another nice Posh surprise is you cannot use A regular computer, only a tablet! I purchase a cheap tablet but I'm so bummed. I can hardly see my phone or my tablet now. I purchased for several months, but did not sell. purchasing things to go in my closet. lot of people never offer things for sale. Please anytime you want to understand something, I'm just a good old southern girl and I'll be happy to happy to help you. And we both love our cats.

shelpen @mary447 oh my sweet beautiful Mary. I miss you. I just praise God that I can see everything through the other eye. The right eye has like a black cloud over it so there is really no vision. I don't like the treatments and they may go on 1 to 2 years and no guarantee they will work. Bummer. Thank you so much for sharing my closet.
