When I hold it up to myself, it lands about 6" from the floor, but probably more when it's on. The fabric is stretchy and made in the 'accordion' style. It also has cute little curvy 'almost ruffle' at the end of the sleeves and the hemline. It has a cute little peek-a-boo in the back of the neckline, with a single black button.
