The higher part is the front lace and the lower section the back's lace. It needs a bit of ironing. But there are no frayed or ripped parts to the lace. All beadwork and sequins are good as well.

mcnifty @ms_jodene The tag is hand written and I just realized it says ISA. I will add a picture so you can see what I mean. It means the piece is original one of a kind wearable art.

mcnifty @ms_jodene Looks like a standard seam. That has the edges pinked and then zigzag stitched both side together to secure. See new picture (I replaced some of the lace pictures). I can also see hand stitching on the back side. where the beaded/sequined trim was placed. No fraying around the seams or even at the pinking edges.

mcnifty I purchase lots of wearable art at major juried shows. It's the kind of one-of-a-kind piece you would find there. Except this one I got in a wearable art gallery in Santa Fe.
