These are all oil. I do occasionally work in pastels as well
The first pic here is an oil of my dogs, mom and child. They are Norwegian Elkhounds; Bunny (mom) and Star (at 4 months here)
The second pic is of two labs down for a gal that was fighting cancer and her friends thought of her.
The third, Rottie, was done in memory for a friend of my sister's.
The GSD was for a friend of mine who just recently lost this lovely girl.
The last is of a cat for a friend
Just wanted to share, Thanks

They are really beautiful. Do you paint other people's dogs for purchase? And if so how much?

@madbiddysshop Yes, I think I can do an 8x10 for 80 to help cover the Posh fee and a couple of dollars on shipping. For a 11/14, 95. Anything larger, I need to check on shipping, weight and protective shipping material. Would need a photo, like post it on you closet and I can probably print it. I really appreciate that you like my work. Thank you.

@olddogmom I’ve been wanting to offer custom portraits on Poshmark but I can’t figure out how I could do it and ship within 3 days. Oil takes even longer to dry, so how would you do that? Just curious if you have figured a way. Maybe we could do gift certificates?

@pluswear Hi there. I haven't figured it yet. My first query is how to get a photo of a client's pet to me to begin. Then, I don't think under the Posh platform I would sell the painting until done, and dry, due to shipping. I saw someone on here who does layaway and gets her money in installments. Not sure how she works it. We could try to look her up.

@olddogmom ah, that’s a neat idea. You know how hard it is to get a good photo to use as reference.

@olddogmom Windsor & Newton makes a water soluble oil paint and it may dry faster, but I found the pigment a bit weak. I think gouache is pretty good, I’m new to it...I need more colors.

@pluswear I found her, it is twclothing or just type layaway in search. Still not sure how to obtain a pic. Maybe the gift you send them for the down payment has a note telling them how to get a pic to you. Hmmm, maybe we should set up a bundle so we can continue talking on that.
