Shanghai Tang Embroidered Blue Placemats & Red Napkins

2 Sets of Shanghai Tang place mats (7 pieces) and napkins (8 pieces). placemats are blue in color with a red trim and Napkins red with orange trim in the corner of all there is an embroidered goldfish. Made in China and 100% cotton (out of production). Pre-Owned condition, there are some flaws on a few of them. Mats measure 19 1/2" x 13" and napkins 21" x 21". Goldfish, particularly Koi, have been used as a symbol of good luck and good fortune. Chinese tradition: goldfish are associated with abundance. In cultures around the world, fish are used symbolically to bring prosperity.
