brendabolster @ladymccoy hi! I actually think that they would be fine for either because my boyfriend at the time and I wore them as part of our gondolier costumes. I think that there is a red sash in there, unhemmed, that I could throw in with it for no extra charge. There might be two I have to double check. I purchased a plain white with black striped long sleeve shirt to wear with it. I still have the shirt but I only have one. Size medium
