It does currently function as the intended use. One pencil has the protective tip sheath. The other 2, the cover is missing. • Best guess when reviewing the logos is that they are from the 1970's to early 1980's • Selling Items As-Is About: • 3 MLB Infinity Non-Sharpening Pencils • Officially Licensed Major League Baseball • "School Stuff" • Made in Taiwan • When the nibs wear down, you remove and insert into the bottom of the pencil which will push up the next nib for continuous writing. • White pencil with blue and red print.
