This whimsical set of carved wood bird figures is sure to brighten up any space. These birds are hand painted in blue, red and green in a weathered style. The birds tilt a wee bit so the beaks aim somewhat downward and outward and the tails aim somewhat upward. Made by Foreside, these pieces are charming folk art with a sense of sweetness. The birds rest on a sphere and block base. The red and blue piece measures 7 1/2" high (to tip of tail). The green stands taller at 9" tall. They are wonderful decorative pieces for any room. They are fairly lightweight but would be charming bookends. Could be used outdoors, although I would suggest using a weatherproof clear coating of some sort. Cute gift.
