Set of 2 Hartstone Pottery Coffee Soup Mugs Gingerbread Christmas Plaid 1982 VTG

Pristine Christmas mugs by Hartstone Pottery made in Zanesville OH, great for coffee, tea or soup. I love the glossy glaze and the quality of the pottery, these are so well made. The oversized mugs features a plaid band in green & red with gingerbread cookie men & holly sprigs in the design, sometimes referred to as Buffalo Plaid. These are handmade / decorated and the initials of the decorator is underneath the handle (see photos) as well as the Hartstone stamp & year on the base - dated 1982. I want you to be aware of the signature because in some cases it looks like an ink smudge - its supposed to be there and is part of the charm of the piece These are hard to find and make a great gift.
