Set of 2 Gerald Henn Workshops 8" Round Brown Spongeware Bowl Made in USA

Set of 2 Workshops of Gerald E. Henn brown sponge ware pasta, soup or salad bowls. Rare brown color is hard to find - discontinued around 1997 when facility that made the brown spongeware burned down. Henn continued to produce the pink, red, blue and green spongeware, but never again produced the brown spongeware. These bowls measure about 7 3/4 inches in diameter at rim and are about 2 inches tall. Excellent condition for age! No chips, cracks or crazing. No visible signs of use.
