Set of 2 Antique Pyralin (French Ivory) Vanity Jars

SET of 2 Antique French Ivory/Pyralin Vanity Jars - Powder & Puffs- Antique Art Deco 'French Ivory' vanity containers - a powder jar and "hair receiver." These items were popular between the late 19th century, with a resurgence in the 1940s. This set was made by DuBarry, a USA brand known for producing vanity sets like cosmetic boxes, dresser containers, hair collectors, and mirrors, often featuring the "Ivory Pyralin" designation. These jar were created as vanity dresser containers - but you can use for whatever you like - trinkets, etc. (A "hair receiver" was designed for storing hair accessories, such as combs and hairpins.) Classic vintage consistently cream-colored vanity pieces Each jar is about 5 inches wide at the base, and 2-1/2 inches tall. They each have sculpted edges on the removeable top lids.
