jinglesbells It says renewable plastic, is the actual woven part the natural fabric? Where is the plastic? On the bottom?

whitewatercove @jinglesbells Hi! The seagrass is a natural, renewable material made into a cord and it's woven with together with a thin, flat recyclable plastic “thread,” about 1/16-inch wide (like what's used to make handmade fancy-braid key chain or bracelet). The plastic runs throughout the entire tray, like the warp thread of a weaving, and holds the seagrass together to make the basket. Hope that helps. :)
