Sergio Bustamante signed Lion papier-mâché MCM

Handmade and handpainted paper mache lion from the Sermel Workshop founded in 1963 by Sergio Bustamante and Melquiades Preciado in Tonala, Jalisco, Mexico. The workshop's name was created from the combination of the first three letters of each of their names: Ser-Mel. It closed its doors permanently in 2013. Overall looks excellent with just a little running on black nose. Size: 7.5" wide x 7.5" tall approx. 4 1/4" deep approx.
