Sculpture mask- Garden and home Art

I made this sculpture/mask inspired by the concept that we came from water to meet land. This Ceramic Sculpture I call "Emerging Dream." It is a whimsical piece to really catch the eye and inspire. It looks beautiful against the greens, surrounded in nature or in the garden. She looks pretty with a candle (citronella for mosquitoes) for a subtle glow on a deck or patio table. This piece nods to winged creatures joining in the transformation- perhaps emerging from an ocean, or maybe a marsh? transforming the self into a survivor on dry land...learning to breathe air. a new kind of LIFE. I personally love art that is unlike anything I've seen before, and a piece that provokes imagination and wonder. Imagination is the organic language we are born with. Our mind, heart and spirit craves to speak to us through imagination and why not feed that beautiful part of us that makes us each so unique? Every piece of art is individual and yet, universal. Speaking to our unconscious and conscious mind, allowing us the opportunity to learn more about ourselves and others. it teaches us to play, and explore while presenting time for mindfulness.
