Website suggests to dry clean items bc of their deadstock nature, yet notes that they can be machine washed and dried and that they will obtain a new feel to them. These have been machine washed and air dried. The linen got softer and is a flowy, soft feel now. They could definitely use an ironing. There is some ever so slight pilling in the linen in some spots from wear. A sweater shaver would definitely smooth those out. These are such cute shorts just a tad to small for me.
