Is the spine protector removable?

@mspatorico no it's not, but it feels like a thick foam, it's very pliable and comfortable, not like a hard piece of plastic or something.

Does this have body armor pockets?

smylez1120
@labelladeborah the body armor isn't removable., it's sewn in.

@smylez1120 just to clarify- it’s metal body armor? Not padding correct?
May 05Reply

smylez1120
@labelladeborah it's thick semi pliable padding. It's rare to find a metal armored jacket unless it's for racing, and then the metal plates are typically on the outside of the jacket and very visible. Normal recreational jackets with armor use thick pliable padding due to the rider not going insanely fast, ease of movement, and general comfort of the garment. In fact, not all recreational jackets even have padding, but that reduces their overall protection.

@smylez1120 I ride so I understand about gear, thank you for your time and opinions.

@smylez1120 your advice and information about riding gear isn’t exactly true- you should go to Harley Davidson moto clothes website and you will see that lots of recreational riding jackets have pockets for body armor. I watch and attend flat track races, I ride and I have never seen body armor on the exterior of jackets- maybe it was like that back in the 40’s but not currently.

@labelladeborah the Harley body armor isnt metal either, it's a polymer, but I'm not going to argue or debate. I appreciate your interest, and hope you find the jacket you are looking for.
