Scarpa mountaineering or ice climbing double boots. The size tag is worn off, but I believe these are EU size 40, which is a women's 8.5. Several people have tried these and said they are a bit too big for a US 8, so I would recommend them for a 8.5

kelseyd833 @lexlites I'm not in Maryland anymore. The cubes I'm selling are a 38.5 and too small for me. These would compare to a 39 or 39.5 in La Sportiva depending on your socks

lexlites @kelseyd833 ah darn, that would have been nice to try them on first! I am going to be in the ADK at the end of the month so I should get a chance to try some boots on up there. If the size matches I’ll take these when I get back if they’re still available 😊

bostonshopper @kelseyd833 How blown out are the liners? I’m interested, these are my size but the Scarpa size guide online says 39.5 fits an 8 but your description says 8.5/9 which makes me think the liners are pretty worn. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, just trying to figure out where I stand in hopes of these fitting.

kelseyd833 @bostonshopper I'm not 100% sure what you mean but I added a top view if that helps. Lmk if there's another angle that will help you see what you need to know. I'd definitely say these arecloser to an 8.5 especially with mountaineering socks. You can see in the photos the liners are slightly bigger than my size 8 running shoes

kelseyd833 @kristinlellis I had a second opinion try these on today and they think the boots are a USW 8.5, which based on Scarpa's size chart is a EU40. Apologies for the confusion.

nksantiagoo Hi I'm interested in your boots, I just tried the Scarpa Phantom 6000 HD and the size 40 fit however in US I'm a size 6.5 so I'm worried that the old boots might be sized different? I'm planning on taking these next month to Denali so can you please share any issues they may have (zipper, holes, etc.)

kelseyd833 @nksantiagoo there are no holes or damage. Just a little dirty and scuffing. Are you US men's 6.5 and Scarpa 40?? If you wear US women's 6.5, these will be much too big
