Hi, do these really fit US8.5? Usually EU40 is more like US9.5, but I know Scarpa sizing is kind of different. Thanks!

Yes -- I wear an 8.5 and they fit me. I felt like the toe box was a bit narrow for me, but with the lacing it's probably very adjustable. I just found that I liked using my hiking boots as approach shoes instead!
