lenoregarnhum @lenoregarnhum #4 At first, I was turned off. I'm still not 100% on board. But trying to work with it. So,once I hit a certain price point. I'm offering free shipping along with the discount. Because we are paying a lower fee we are able to do this and still make the same bottom line. This way it will offset the extra fees that the buyer is paying and we all know that everyone loves free shipping. Since the new fee structure started, I've made seven sales, which is my norm in that timeframe.

ladyvictoria777 @taytaybog feel better! Not sharing just here for the comments 🫖🤣 Social media blew up they had to turn off comments on sm So CA has a nearly 10% sales tax. Add in shipping another $6 we will be paying for all of that combined if we have any customers in CA or WA where the tax is almost 10%

ladyvictoria777 Someone on social media broke it down on a $90 item the buyer will pay about $22 extra in fees along with ship. Also posh doesn’t give you the math or provide a breakout of the fees like other platforms do. It’s very confusing

ladyvictoria777 This has been my experience with people who’ve had sales and cannot math like me and posh doesn’t “simplify”it like other platforms. Basically they’re triple dipping now on tax and ship. It’s still confusing to me. I’m sure some will swoop in and say I’m being negative but I’m still on the fence about this change

serenity_style_ @ladyvictoria777 @lenoregarnhum I figured out the formula I had a sale yesterday $15 n I actually made less then if we were to pay the 20% old way. I have had two sales to day n I'll do the comparison n see where they fall. Also I'm Washington state n our sales tax is 8.7%

warriormenace @warriormenace #6 Well I’m going to have to read into this more. I’ve had 1 sale since it started, and made less money as a result. It was a $16 item, my earnings are 12.69, last week $16 sale, my earnings were 12.80. No I know it’s just Pennie’s difference, put I do not like that it is suppose to benefit me the seller, when in fact it is not. I’ll deep dive into it after I get home.

Heavens knows why there having us pay a 5.99% on shipping lable n taxes the state tax collected is paid by buyer n then the pay that state its an in n out transaction. I started at a another place today. I feel they Do Not have our best interest in hand as sellers here.

lenoregarnhum @ladyvictoria777 yes! Try it. I just sold another bundle of 2...I seriously thought the fee change would reduce sales.. my sales have definitely improved. The reason I think that free shipping is key because when we like something we don't mind paying a little extra for it but but generally, we hate paying shipping.
