Sarah Richardson Sterling Necklace

This sterling necklace was created by Sarah Richardson who graduated with a degree in metal smithing from Rhode Island School of Design and now has a studio in California. She is drawn to organic shapes. This necklace, called a “ large circle pod pendant” on her website, is a circle of “pods” of varying sizes with polished edges and matte interiors. The circle of pods is just over 1 1/2” wide. One side of the oxidized chain is 7 1/2” long and the other side is 9” long, including a 2” extender. The length of the necklace makes it either a choker or a piece that falls just below the throat. It has a toggle for a clasp. This piece is prettier than it looks in the pictures, and the few speckles of tarnish you see in the pods in the picture can hardly be seen at all when looking at the piece with your eye.
