Santa Lucia Retired Old World Christmas Ornament

Legends says that Santa Lucia brought food to the Swedes during a great famine. In Scandinavia, Santa Lucia's Day is celebrated on Dec. 13th. Very early that morning, young girls dressed in white gowns wearing wreaths of greenery and candles, represent St. Lucia and serve coffee and traditional rolls to their parents while they remain in bed.
