Samuel Lear opened a factory in England in 1877 and closed 10 years later in 1887. This plate is known as the sunflower and urn pattern. Back of plate has a faint British Registry mark. There are two tiny flea bites on edge of plate. Back has crazing, hairline crack and center chip. Overall plate still retains a good appearance. Very unique!
