I am so tired of seeing Poshmark being abused by users who buy from asian wholesale sites such as Sammy Dress. If your not familiar with these sites you should look them up. What some poshers do is they order large quantities of things from Asian wholesale sites and mark up the price far more then what they actually paid for the item. They don't even bother to take their own photos. They use the original from the site. A dress that was $8 gets marked up to $30 or $40. Don't fall for it.

loupine @diablita My items are marked down considerably from when I bought them. They're reduced. I think it's wrong to mark things up that are originally $2 or $3 and sell them for $30. Soooo...if I have a dress that I bought for $120 $50 is a good deal. Also often times they say they paid much more then they actually did. It's scammy.

starsorrow Ahh, I almost bought one of these from someone who was obviously buying wholesale. I looked at the Sammy dress site and was kind of considering ordering directly from it but a quick Internet search seems to point to the fact that they are scammers or something. Do you have any personal experience with Sammy dress you can tell me about?

loupine @starsorrow You should do a YouTube search on them. They're not exactly a scam. They send you clothes that look like the ones in the pictures. But there not lol their clothes also fall apart really easy. Most people complain that the clothes are really cheaply made. But they're really cheap. I think it's odd you have to pay with pay pal. But I've also heard of some people being really happy with the orders they receive:) Hit or miss. Mostly miss. Which is why it's so wrong if people to resell what they get be because the quality is so low.

starsorrow Hmm. Thank you for such a through response! Most of the complaints I've seen about Sammy dress is that they have straight up not shipped orders out or taken months to ship them out. The selection and prices seem really good but I don't know exactly how cheaply made the material would be :p having gotten really cheap clothing from china before I would wholeheartedly agree with you that it's really hit or miss. Sometimes you can get something of amazing quality for very cheap but most of the time it will be complete crap. Thank you for your insight! ☺

rociorod93 I saw that too!!! I hate that they do that, and they put preorder but the amount they make profit is ridiculous I saw a jean oversized hoodie for 150! They sell for like 23 dollars lol

danusaurusrex @starsorrow like she said, they send items that look like the photos. Lol. I've bought from them And when they say "sweater" I got a weird shirt material. The stuff doesn't look like how it does on the models, and when they look good they are poor quality 😩 I thought I was catching a deal when I found the site but it's a waste of money.

danusaurusrex It's soo funny too, everyone has those bathing suits they are selling, I almost bought one on here for $40 and went on sammydress and saw it for $9. Super glad I didn't pay $40 for crappy quality.
