kristenleighel @fre73 hello! The 27" is measuring it with the straps also. Are you interested in the length from beneath the bust to the hemline? I can grab that for you this evening if so.

kristenleighel @fre73 no problem! So actually when I had measured it the first time I did not include the straps. So it's about 27" for the top of the dress to the bottom. However, from beneath the bust to the bottom it's about 20.5". Let me know if you need any other questions answered!

kristenleighel @fre73 It has a stiff hemline so that it has the bit of poof at the bottom - I don't think that would be easy to hem but I also don't know much about hemming! Are you thinking it might be too long?
