Saguaro RARE Cactus skeleton wood adjoined Sonoran Mojave Desert cholla lamp sconce light decor light fixture Beautiful Hand-Crafted Cholla Cactus Wood circular lamp, light fixture. creates a beautiful glow and shadow. As Arizona natives we enjoy hiking in the Sonoran Desert. Thats where we discovered the beauty and uniqueness of the Saguaro cactus, especially the wood that remains after the plant dies. These particular saguaro pieces were gathered by my Grandma decades ago so I reworked them into beautiful pieces. All of the wood has been gathered from fallen Saguaros, with no meat left on them. I collect only the Cholla and saguaro cactus wood that has fallen to the desert floor, never uprooting or changing the natural landscape. Thanks for the visit! The wood has been power washed, sanded, and hardened.
