Decal Manufacturer: Superscale Title: 49th Fighter Group Curtiss P-40Es Reynolds, Irvin, Ball, Kruzel Ref: 48-392 Scale: 1/48 Decals: The sheet contains decals for four United States Army Air Force (USAAF) Curtiss P-40E Warhawk aircraft all serving with the 49th Fighter Group (FG) featuring superb nose, see listing images, one serving with the 9th Fighter Squadron (FS), flown by the Flight Leader, indicated by the narrow diagonal White stripe on the fuselage, Lieutenant (Lt) Andrew J. Reynolds, one serving with the 9th FS flown by Captain (Capt) Ben “Bitchin” Irvin, one serving with the 7th FS flown Lt Edgar D. Ball and one serving with the 7th FS flown by Flight Leader Capt Joe Kruzel. Also includes a hi res COPY of the single sided A4 black and white placement guide showing side and upper profiles. Condition: excellent, as with all older decal sheets, it would be advisable to coat with Microscale Liquid Decal Film and/or test a piece before use
