Highly faceted crystals! They create beautiful little rain spots on your walls or ceilings if you put the suncatcher in front of a window that gets direct sunlight. I have used red silk yarn type of material. The silk holes up very well. Very little discoloration if you keep it outside also. I used a red wire as a method of holding the suncatcher to whatever you nail it to or attach it to. I wrap these in bubble wrap. I have never had a complaint of any breakage. Comes from a smoke and perfume free home.
