STUNNING VINTAGE HANDMADE AMISH QUILT - RARE 67" x 50" Own a piece of history with this beautiful vintage Amish patchwork quilt in a rare traditional pattern. It is 67” x 50” so will top a double bed. 100% soft cotton on both sides with tiny quilting stitches (pictured), in traditional patterns. The colors on the front are black, purple, black raspberry, pink, and turquoise in the center. The back is entirely in the black raspberry shade with 2” black edging. As seen in photos, someone put lengths of black cotton along the top and bottom of this quilt; likely to mend it sometime after it was originally made as evidenced by the darker shade of black. Given its age, this stunning quilt is considered to be in very good, pre-owned condition as I don’t see any defects. Although very well made, it should be handled with great care. It was signed by the seamstress, ____ O’Connell (see photo – I can’t decipher the first name). This exquisite quilt will make a lovely gift for yourself or another.
