STUNNING 1930S' DESIGNER BLACK STRAW "DUTCH" STYLE HAT

This is a beautiful black straw from the fashionable 1930s by famous designer Evelyn Varon! The hat consists of a cap plus a wide piece of straw that has been beautifully folded to create an interpretation of the almost triangular shape of traditional Dutch cap. There is also a straw bow at the back! What a fascinating look! Label: EVELYN VARON Evelyn Varon was a famous and admired French milliner who started designing in the 1920s'. Her exquisitely creative designs were very sought after in the USA. Please do not expect perfection! This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years.
