ST. JOHN Vintage Purple Knit Dress with Lizard Belt and Enamel Buttons SZ 10-12

This vintage knit dress from St. John features a stunning shade of purple in St. John's signature santana knit, a blend of wool and rayon beloved for it's resiliency and resistance to wrinkles (and for its forgiveness when it comes to sizing!). The dress has classic St. John styling with a crew neck, long set-in sleeves, elastic waist, on seam pockets, and a button down skirt. The five buttons down the front of the skirt are actually functional, so you could open one or two at the bottom to make a walking vent. There are three of the same enamel buttons on each cuff, though decorative only. The lizard-embossed belt has a purple enamel buckle that matches the buttons. The dress closes with a long back zipper and has fairly large shoulder pads. Labeled US size 10. Measurements are generous, so this dress could work for size 12 also. Please use the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size and compare with a similar garment that fits you.* This dress is stretchy. MEASUREMENTS - Underarm chest measurement is 40" with knit relaxed. - Waist is 30" and can be adjusted both ways using elastic accessible in the side seam. - Hips are 41" at about 8" below waist. - Length is about 46" down center back including crew neckband. CONDITION Excellent condition with no significant flaws. Backing on belt show some crazing, but front shows no flaws.
