ladykyb This is the type pleat I’m talking about so the first ones that I liked they have pockets and pleats like this pair?

christinebau289 @ladykyb Yes, same exact style as Navy pair. I left a note but look at Cobalt/Sapphire pair that’s the “other” style. Pleat only at middle otherwise smooth & flat fitting. I would think the pleats would hide a bit of tummy (which I unfortunately have 😆) but maybe I’m wrong?!

ladykyb @christinebau289 these look beautiful, but that’s the Pleat I was talking abt I don’t want.I want the flat panel in front & Sometimes they have some pockets, but most time the flat panels have no pockets, I could take pockets or no pockets I just don’t want pleats, so I’ll keep looking & I’m wth make a few more sales & I may buy another pair from you. Several of my St. John pieces got absolutely ruined in my basement which had a water problem and the moths just ate them alive I cried, literally

ladykyb @christinebau289 I will definitely keep checking your closet to see new posts with St John items. I’m trying to rebuild some of my St John wardrobe, but not working the same corporate type job anymore. I don’t even need all that fancy wardrobe but I sure hated seeing the ones that got destroyed. I had some really pretty pieces that were just gorgeous and they just got eaten alive so I’ll keep checking.

christinebau289 @ladykyb That’s awful. These pieces are in excellent condition and Sell much faster in the Boutiques but I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to meet with my Consignment people. I’m most likely pulling at least half of the items on here in the next month & giving them over to Consignment. It’s a much faster & higher Sell for me. All items are in covered wardrobe bags and kept in an air conditioned closet. Trying to downsize since I have at least 75+ pieces.

ladykyb @christinebau289 I think you’re right St John doesn’t sell very well on Poshmark that’s because the demographic is much younger and they don’t know it and they don’t understand how expensive it was retail like $2000 jackets I have over 200 pieces so I definitely know where you’re coming from. I’ve decided it’s not really the greatest platform for St. John either & consignment shops usually can do a little better.

ladykyb That said, however, you have the sizes that I’m looking to get size 2&4 in the pants so if you do have some other colors when you get a moment, just shoot me a picture(301335-3841)and I’ll let you know if I’d like to purchase them and then you could post them before you take them over to the shop by the way what city are you in? I go to a consignment shop everywhere I travel!😱😊

christinebau289 @ladykyb It won’t let me respond to the other message.🙃I don’t Sell off the website unless items are SOLD at one of the Boutiques. I have an arrangement with one owner who allows me to keep items on Poshmark but if he Sells it he texts me & I mark SOLD. That’s why many of the Jewelry items show 🛑SOLD🛑because he had them at his Boutique & Sold it first. Most items on here are NOT at Boutiques right now but I need to put some back in since they Sell within a few days or weeks.

ladykyb Yeah, that is funny dear. I know what happened POSHMARK flags certain words so you have to dance around it and use other words like you can’t use the Cnsgnment you can’t use the word tx,you can’t use the word EBY because I guess they get nervous and think you’re trying to dance with the competition.. if you notice, I had to abbreviate all those words that are red flag words for them

I was just curious where you lived and where those shops are that you also work with I always go to one whenever I’m out of town.. but anyhow, you have my #, so just send me a pict before you take them to the shops,I’d like to see other colors,bec I have black and brown but I usually try to have at least two pair in the same color in case one gets ruined

ladykyb @christinebau289 there’s more than one way to skin a cat!🙃🤣Yeah I learned that a while ago I have to do my own funny looking abbreviations, so I don’t get flagged, but anyhow let me know about the other colors that you might have in size 2 or 4 and in the meantime, I am waiting on a sale or two and I might just get those navy ones from you.

christinebau289 @ladykyb Just wanted to let you know I'm going to try to post a few more colors of brown and black but most likely taking all of them to the Boutique on May 10. I've got clients who pay $125 to $150 for these and all of mine are in excellent pre-loved condition. Thank you. I already put several items in the Boutique and they SOLD within days.....Poshmark is overcrowded and people expect unrealistic prices for quality items.

ladykyb @christinebau289 thank you dear for the update and the heads up I agree with you which is why I don’t post most of my St. John on Poshmark. I think it’s just too conservative and pricey, and the younger generation just doesn’t really know that much about it or appreciate it, or the Retail price so I take mine to upscale consignment shops as well. I did sell a suit once I think for about 350 but that’s rare.

christinebau289 @ladykyb I took about 25 pieces over that weren’t on here & Consignment lady took every single piece. Gorgeous, like new. Most listing for $250 & up. Pants easily Sell @ $125-$150 so I’m done on this website. I used to Sell quite a bit at a reasonable price but lately. 🤦‍♀️

christinebau289 @ladykyb I haven’t taken the pants yet and yes, I have brown & black. Various styles. I had a lot of skirts (various styles) that I never posted on here. I also had several dressy sweaters that I never posted on here. I’ve got Company over the weekend but I can try to take photos and maybe post a few of the other colors. It’s just a lot of time compared to dropping them at the Boutique and picking up a check weeks later. 😊
