vintage 1940s dress, made of a classic black rayon crepe ➡ a giant floral print appliqué sweeps down the shoulder in front and back + down the hip -- such a perfect color palate with white, pink, purple, + blue ➡ strong padded shoulders + wide dolman short sleeves + draped shirring across right shoulder ➡ basque seamed waistline ➡ fluttering hip drape ➡ long metal zipper up the back label: none present material: rayon crepe garment is shown pinned on my 34"/25"/36" form, for reference. bust: hard to measure with dolman cut -- prob best for 40" max waist: 30" hips: 42" length: 47" shoulder to waist: 17" condition: presents flawlessly, with a couple tiny things to note. freshly dry cleaned + ready to wear. 2 tiny holes on the bust appliqué. a repaired seam at side hem -- this isn't visible from the outside, but it had torn + needed to be nipped in a touch. lastly, a veryyyyy ghostly red fade mark across back bodice.
