Stunning Vintage 80's Sterling Freshwater Round Pearl Threader Earrings OK, Theese BAD BOYS were my Grammy's. They were in her special Jewelry box, she was a real fashionista- had some poise and style. My Mom told me they were a bday gift from one of her 13 sisters (Italian families are huge). I did sanitize them for you. The pearls have a purply hue to them- have awesome luster. They are real pearl and sterling. I haven't used jewelry cleaner on them, as I'm afraid or unsure if it'll ruin the pearls finish. I CAN polish the sterling with cloth if you remind or ask ahead of time, some people like the "grunge" tarnished look and that's harder to achieve than wiping it clean ( : There are small clear rubber stoppers- DO NOT WEAR THEM WITHOUT the rubber backings, as the pearls outweigh the thread end and they can slip and fall out- my mom told me stories!
